Make your voice heard by participating in AWIS’ Advocacy Days! Speak with key federal lawmakers about top policy issues in the hallowed halls of Congress, with other AWIS Members from around the country.

In preparation for the Congressional visits, AWIS members will participate in a policy briefing on March 19, 2019, from 3 pm to 5 pm. Then, on March 20, 2019, from 9 am to 3 pm, we will meet with Congressional offices to advocate for critical priorities such as STEM funding, equity, sexual harassment and Title IX.

AWIS’ Advocacy Days is an AWIS Membership benefit: to register, you must be an AWIS Member in good standing. While there is no cost to attend the event, you are responsible for arranging travel and accommodations during your time in Washington, DC.
