Careers at AWIS
The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) is a 501c3 organization founded in 1971. We are dedicated to helping women in science and STEM achieve their full potential. For 50 years, our thought leadership, research and advocacy initiatives have promoted safe, inclusive, and equitable workplaces across all disciplines and employment sectors. Our local chapters and affiliates provide members with networking, mentoring and leadership opportunities as well as support, inspiration, and a sense of community. We look forward to the next 50 years of connecting members, allies and supporters in order to achieve business growth, social change, and innovation!
AWIS is a small staff association with 6 full-time employees and an approximately $1 million annual budget. We are a virtual organization with staff located across the U.S. Learn more about our staff, governing board, our history and our impact.
