Tuyet Hanh

Engineer
Tuyet Hanh is a mechanical engineer and motivational speaker for women involved in STEM. Graduating in 1991 with an mechanical engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hanh decided to enroll in the Stevens’ Cooperative Education Program to get a headstart in her career. She was able to have real-world experiences at Visa Research, GE AeroSpace, and Georgia Tech Research Institute and also completed a minor in American/British Literature. She currently has a 30 year career at Lockheed Martin where she incorporates digital design, firmware, and application software into her work as well as inspiring other young women who wish to pursue STEM careers. Hanh is also an agile coach at the company, teaching employees how to break down large projects into tangible goals. She was awarded the Local Legacy Award from SWE for her contributions to the engineering profession.
