Astronaut

Dr. Serena Auñón-Chancellor always knew she wanted to be an astronaut. Three years after joining the Johnson Space Center as a Flight Surgeon, Dr. Auñón-Chancellor was selected to the 20th NASA astronaut class. In 2018 she logged 197 days in space in the International Space Station, becoming only the second Hispanic woman to fly into outer space.
