AWIS Partners with Achieve More LLC for Strategic Plan to Advance DEI
WASHINGTON DC, August 4, 2022 – The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) has selected Achieve More LLC to construct a strategic plan which furthers AWIS’ mission and includes programs and initiatives that intentionally drive equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout the scientific workforce.
Achieve More LLC will be conducting a series of listening sessions and surveys that will inform the next iteration of the strategic plan. President and CEO Mariama Boney, LMSW, CAE, CPEC will serve as principal consultant, along with her team. Boney has spent over 20 years as an award-winning educational administrator, association executive, facilitator, coach, trainer, and consultant. She is the author of articles, book chapters, and the three-book VENT (Volunteer Emotions and Needs through Talking) series, the latest of which is VENT: Our Resilience Is Enough.
