Strengthen the Impact of Your Women's ERG

Join the AWIS ERG Leadership Council to share your challenges and crowdsource solutions

Get support from other ERG leaders

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are critical drivers of belonging, retention, and leadership development. Yet too often, ERG leaders are volunteers who must navigate complex challenges with limited time, resources, and support. Sound familiar?

The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) is hosting monthly facilitated sessions (virtual) designed specifically for leaders and champions of women-focused ERGs so they can collaborate on solutions for challenges such as:

  • Delivering programming with limited bandwidth
  • Demonstrating ROI and business impact
  • Scaling initiatives across global teams
  • Supporting intersectional identities
  • Developing a pipeline of women leaders

While each organization may approach these challenges differently, no one should have to solve them alone.

Drive better business outcomes

AWIS has a 55-year history of advocating for inclusive policies and supporting members, leaders, and organizations dedicated to ensuring the full participation of women in STEM. We understand the systemic challenges facing women in STEM, the critical role ERGs play in supporting them, and the bottom-line benefits that inclusive organizations experience.
