These distinguished awards celebrate AWIS members who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, impact, and commitment to inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility in STEM

The Association for Women in Science is proud to recognize Drs. Cynthia A. D’Ambrosio and Andrea J. Tenner as the newest members of the AWIS Loyalty Circle.

The Association for Women in Science is now accepting nominations for its 2025 Annual Awards.

AWIS is pleased to announce that Dr. Georgia Forrest, Dr. Maria Gallo, Anita Chu Li, PharmD, Adrienne Rackley, and Dr. Malek Ben Salem will join the AWIS National Governing Board beginning July 1, 2025.

AWIS is pleased to award scholarships to nine exceptional members this year, supporting the next steps in their STEM education.

AWIS is governed by a board of directors who have a wide range of experience, expertise, and core competencies that provide the strategic direction of the organization. The AWIS Nominating and Governance Committee is seeking to fill six (6) director positions on the AWIS National Governing Board whose three-year terms will run from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028.
