2013 AWIS Media Kit
AWIS Magazine is our flagship publication that targets women with careers in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine fields. The color magazine features workplace trends, career advancement, our advocacy work in Washington, DC, and other topics of interest to women in these fields. Learning about how to achieve work-life balance and keeping on top of new trends are priorities for our AWIS Magazine readers. Most AWIS members receive AWIS Magazine: nearly 60% having a PhD degree and 18% with a Masters. Approximately 65% of our readers work or do research in academia (colleges and universities), with an additional 20% in industry and business, and 10% in government. AWIS Magazine also reaches nonsubscribers via subscriptions through libraries and universities.
